MAP Week 01: Relaxation

Directions: Use for 15 to 20 minutes (longer if desired) prior to the relaxation exercise practice (chapter 1), with or without light goggles. Use a low to medium sound level, sit in a quiet place, and listen to the preset with eyes closed. A hard-backed chair without neck support is recommended to prevent falling asleep.

Overview: A single voice gradually (and inaudibly) lowers from a binaural beat frequency of 15 Hz (awake, beta consciousness) to 10 Hz (a light relaxed state) during the first 10 minutes of the program. Thereafter, the voice remains at 10 Hz for another 80 minutes to induce and maintain the same level of relaxation. Visual frequency moves from 15 to 10 Hz and remains at 10 Hz throughout the remainder of the program.

Preset Duration: 90 minutes.

Reminder: The presets in this program are designed to induce drowsiness. Do not listen to this or any of the presets in this program while driving or using heavy or potentially dangerous equipment.

I'm curious why nobody is posting in these MAP presets, It 's been 3 months since I looked and not even a snide quip (even the one about Megahertz was removed.) (I really find that annoying, everywhere within the descriptions "MHz" is used in place of Hz to describe frequencies.) WRT No. 2, Deep Relaxation, I found it quite good, once I'd jazzed up the background noise a bit.

yeah, very quiet here. i have the book, and it's useful, but still not getting an obe yet. i think maybe robert bruce's (coauthor) astral dynamics provides more background. but also i lack discipline, and no book can compensate for that. also, comments WERE removed, not sure why, crap really.

The "MHz" error has been fixed and all descriptions now show "Hz" correctly. While doing this, I deleted all comments that were related to the MHz error.

It worked for me, though it took about ten minutes before it actually seemed to take effect.

I bought the book too and I found it very interesting, specially the part related with energy development. Anyway I've not had any obe, but yes two LD (awesome ones, dudes). I'm testing one of these presets tonight.

I'm just start this so called course and as I'm a very skeptical and scient person I start out very neutral. My first week has now been closed. In this program I very fast get into a relaxed mode. Nothing x-ordinary during the seance. I notice that for just a couple of days I got a feeling of joy and all this annoying small problems seens to mean nothing, really something x-ordinary. Summary. For just that small adjustment of my life, (putting on headphones and cool down). I already got a high output.

How does one get the brain wave generator presets to run on a mac?
