Box_X_Revision_3

Revision 3 - Very Low Carrier Tones Used. Possibly for Advanced users only as it syncs the hemispheres a lot.

Box X style progression from 12hz to 1hz... continual signal processing of the brain is constant so the brain doesn't get used to the freq. The background and noise is a brew of mine.... makes me go directly to a beach somewhere. I tend to focus on the flow of the waves, the birds and my breathing to go in deeper.

Al pitch tones (of voice 1 in segments A & B), are harmonics of the bbeat, the pitch tones of voices 2 (segments A & B off course), are product of the Box X Method.

It's very interesting how Box X enhances the effect... If anyone else does a revision, please send it to my email address: [email protected]

Box X Method info found at:

I hope someone can make a 4 voice revision over this particular file. I'll try out myself.

Background File found at:

Background file can be found at:

The background is an MP3 format in 190kbps, first decompress with Winamp or Cool Edit Pro 2 or some proggy like that.

This is a really inspired preset which skillfully exploresand demonstrates the potential of BWGEN.For me it supplies the perfect mix of warm and inviting low carriers, a background which supports entrainment and a " followability " that doesn't call attention to the structure of the preset itself.
It is easy on the uptake and gentle on the bring down.
This is one of the best ones I have experienced after years of listening.

Thank you very much for your kind review. I'm very glad you liked it. I hope you also downloaded the background from the link provided on the description. Helps a lot on the ambientation.

I'll try to keep on producing more like this. In fact, i'll upload the revision 2 that i was using before this one. Higher carriers but they are still "low" in comparison with the first version of this method.

I've come to realize that you should do different "levels" to obtain cleansing of the specific brain layers that are afected by different carrier tones.

The revision 4 is yet to come, although it might need studio hi-fi headphones to obtain good results because i will use carriers near 20hz. I've been thinking about doing it at 96,000 hz sample rate and burning onto a DVD for full potential. I have to do some experimentation on the output though.

You cannot use 20Hz carrier because it is to low. At this carrier freq there are no binaural beats.

I explore carriers at 50Hz but it seems to be a low freq to modulate alpha binaural beats.

Actually there are some great hi-fi headphones that allow listening with precise fidelity freqs as low as 23 or 25hz. The binaurals are still generated though not heard but "percieved" by the subsonic vibrations emited to the ears and sides of the head. But then again, the carriers are so low they emit this binaurals very weakly. I think it's possible to try but not a fact to succed.

Maybe you can obtain very low BB freq like 4 Hz ... 1Hz or something like this. But the BB are formed from the difference between the freq of the carrier pairs. If the carrier is to low you cannot obtain all BB from the Beta to Delta range.

I'm going to give this a try -- I have a couple of different sets of studio-grade headphones/earphones which are supposedly flat to 10 Hz. Am also experimenting with 2496 but wish bwgen had the option for 24-bit audio output otherwise you would probably lose too much in the upsampling. Still don't have a DVD burner or DVD player so the real tests are going to have to wait a while.

Looks interesting though...

You can get some Sony Headphones that have a diamond-evaporated diaphragm, wide frequency response range of 5Hz-30KHz, with an Aura-Nomic driver for enhancing the sound, that work just fine for this preset. Nice and professional preset.THANKS.
