Hi, I tried sleeping with this one, after 30 minutes it became too uncomfortable, so took the headphones off. That night I had the vividestest dream ever. It was not a pleasant one however, but amazingly clear in detail and consistency. Showing very clearly how thought attracts more of the same, but slowly. I have had lucid moments very rarely in dreams.

I am curious what you mean by "uncomfortable" do you mean the effects were uncomfortable, the actual sound was uncomfortable or the headphones? Perhaps it was too loud?
I believe one can learn to turn unpleasant dreams to pleasant ones.

Very interesting that just the first 30 minutes brought you a lucid dream... If you try this again I'm curious to hear whether it induces a lucid dream again.

Also, did you experience any of the other desired effects (though you did only listen to the first 30 minutes)

Thanks

Ever since I've been using BWGen I've had dreams almost every night.

this is total nonsense. I've been using this preset for weeks and no lucid dreams
yet. Where do you come up with this goobly gook?

Hey jupee, why do you think that this is a "magical" preset. If anything this would only be a catlyst for lucid dreaming... Would be to make your dreams more "lucid" ie visual/vivid. Plus you would still need to use reality checks all the time Im pretty sure.....

it amazes me that nobody came up with awakening pulses like in the nova dreamer..that gives you a flash of light+audio signal at the moment of rem sleep. I mean... it is easy enough to determen the state of mind when you induce it yourself:) so the timing of this awakenng pulses should be easy to determen.(ps i gave that a try in my lucid preset, however..it is not really an experienced build)
greetings

hey rhino, by any chance do you have any idea how to build a sensor to detect rem sleep?. me and my buddy cynapse were thinking about it (would be way to hard probably)...I also know that you can detect rem from breathing paterns...not sure how though ..any idears

I made a 90 tape of your preset and set the player to play continously. So far I have not had a a true lucid dream (but I have had them in the past). But I have had very vivid dreams using this preset. This seems to be consistant with this preset and not just a happenstance. I expect that lucid dreams will follow with a bit more practice.
On the other hand I have been unable to give it a true test run since I have no way or playing/recording the full preset -- just the first 90 min.

I appreciate the comments. Glad to hear you are having success with at least vivid dreams Rod. Agent768, I agree; success with BWGen requires concentration on the sound. Passive listening doesn't seem to work that well IMO...

At least 2 ppl have had "Vivid dreams" with this preset. Vivid dreams could very well turn into vivid lucid dreams with a little work ;)

I have been working on a new version... any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

I've been trying the bwgen and by far I have had no results. Do you guys use it right before sleeping? Do you burn cds or record tapes of them? Considering a sleeping time reducer, when would you use it? Tnx guys.

I have lucid dream too after listening this preset. THANKS !!!!

Loozak, glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback.

How many times have you had lucid dreams with my preset?

The message above from (unknown) was me.

Hi,

I've just been acquainted with the whole BWGen thing. It seems interesting. I tried one yesterday, giving me vocal cues at 4h30 - 6h - and 7h30, the longer REM period of the sleep. I was very enthusiastic about it but I woke up several time because the headphones are really unconfortable to sleep with. And since I woke up, the whole thing didn't really work since my sleep phases weren't syncronized anymore. Anyway, my question is, is there a special kind of earphones or tips that you guys use to sleep confortable with earphones? Because it's a bummer when you want to sleep on the side. Thanks for the advices!

Read up on this all last night..and decided to try this version out before the others. All I have to say is....OW. Not wow, but OW. All I got for my time was a huge headache. I fell asleep eventually, but this morning I woke up with a headache feeling 'off'. Not sure what the deal is. I'm even afraid now to try a 'headache reducing' preset, wondering if it'll make things worse. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Not all frequencies work the same for all people in all situations.

I have found brown noise mixed with high frequencies to be quite relaxing. bwgen does nothing to me at all. I usually end up taking the headphones off my head because it just becomes annoying. By annoying I mean too repetitive and noisy.

Low frequencies might do nothing at all despite the claims that they are use to confuse the riots. Some people might feel the pleasure from two short tones of the pitch equivalent to tone F.

Some people find the cell phones that vibrate the neurons at certain frequencies with their signals relaxing.

If you really want to make some effect in your head, use magnetic fields or ECT.
