Tones

I had a question in general.
I understand the method of binaural beats being created in the brain via
two frequencys..
My question has a couple of parts. Is there any evidence for the use of
lower or higher tones to generate the beat in terms of its
effectiveness?
BrainWave generator can generate 4 voices all with the same binaural
beat. So one could have a set of notes that go together like a chord.
Has anyone experimented to see if a "richer" composite is any more
effective that just a pure tone?

Hi,
I don't think the frequency of the audible tones has much effect on
the effectiveness of binaural beats as such, EXCEPT that in certain
mental conditions lower or higher frequencies are percieved easier.
For example, if you want to concentrate on something else while
listening to binaural beats, I think lower frequencies (100-200 Hz)
are better because the brain will not "pay too much attention" to
these low frequencies. In general, I'd say that high frequencies
(500-800 Hz) go best with higher binaural beats frequencies (10-20 Hz)
and when you are actively listening to the beats.
Of course, this depends much on individuals, so you should
experiment with the effects yourself. The same goes for using
richer (4 voices) output versus simple 1 voice output. I personally
like simple 1 voice output better, but many people have told that
richer output works best for them. Richer output also sounds more
"natural" than a pure sine wave in 1 voice output.

Some sources say that high binaural frequencies (over 30-100hz) help
with some paranormal abbilities (psi, telekinesis, third eye, etc).
other sources say that very low frequencies (below 3hz) do the same.
What gives? any suggested frequencies?
