 Import bug in version 3.1.0
The following error has been found in the BrainWave Generator 3.1.0 import
functionality.
Description
When the user double-clicks a BWG file, BrainWave Generator is started to
import it. However, the imported preset will overwrite the first preset in
BrainWave Generator. NOTE: this is not the same as the first preset in the
list.
The error only occurs if BrainWave Generator is not running when a BWG file is
double-clicked.
By default, the first preset is "BUILTIN: Creativity increase 1 (7 to 6 Hz)".
When this error first occurs, you will lose this builtin preset. The
second time, the newly imported preset will overwrite the preset that was
imported last time.
Resolution
This error has been fixed in BrainWave Generator version 3.1.1. It is available for download in the download section. If you have lost the built-in Creativity increase 1 preset, you can get it here.
You can install BrainWave Generator 3.1.1 directly on top of your existing version 3.1.0. There is no need to uninstall version 3.1.0 first. If you have created your own presets, remember to answer No when asked whether you want to replace the Presets.bwg file. Otherwise all your own presets will be lost.
